Bob Dalpe grew up outside of Boston Mass served in the USAF from 1978-1993 as a weather observer/forecaster serving throughout the US and Europe with a deployment to Saudi Arabia post Desert Storm. He supported numerous fixed wing and rotary aircraft and ground operations across North America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Bob is an engineering technician at General Dynamics Mission System after he took advantage of an early retirement program from the Intel Corp to complete his BA degree from ASU in 2017, 41-year process. Bob is active in the Arizona Veterans community volunteering various organizations as Native American Sustainability for Veterans and those in Uniform (NASVU) Veterans Medical Leadership Council, Arizona Legislative Veterans Caucus, and the Arizona Post 9-11 Military Family Relief Fund Committee. As well as he supports other groups and events in the STEM, youth, and veteran’s communities. Bob is a member of the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Class of 2017 and a Honorary Kentucky Colonel. He has two sons currently serving: oldest son in the USAF, youngest son in the USN and the middle son who is an USA Reserve veteran working for Boeing. v with three grandchildren. Married to Lisa with two stepchildren, Adam and Sara, they live on Chandler AZ.
