Dave English is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in 1986 with Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.  During Dave’s time at Annapolis, He served aboard the USS Butte in support of operations by the Marine Peacekeeping Forces in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983.   Upon graduation in May of 1986, he was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.  After completing the Marine Basic Officer Course at Quantico, VA, Dave was trained at the Field Artillery School at Fort Sill, OK and become a Marine Corps Artillery Officer.  He served with Fifth Battalion, Tenth Marines at Camp Lejeune, NC as a Guns Platoon Commander, Fire Direction Officer, and Executive Officer.  Dave then served as Fire Support Coordinator with Marine Forces Panama in Operation Just Cause and as the Artillery and Naval Gun Fire Officer of 3rd Battalion, Second Marines during seagoing and ground combat operations in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.  He went into Reserve Status after the Gulf War in May of 1991. 

Dave English has pursued a career in Healthcare Sales and Operations Management in progressive leadership roles with Abbott, Roche, and Sonora Quest Laboratories leading to serving as CEO of Sun Pain Management which has 8 offices and 5 Ambulatory Surgical Centers serving 6,000 patients monthly, along with his current start up endeavors with his strategy consulting firm Ascendant Biomedical which now builds Artificial Intelligence Platforms for Healthcare and have included contracted roles as CEO of a Fertility Clinic Chain, Chief Commercial Officer of an Oncology Diagnostics Company and Business Development Executive for startup healthcare companies along with Mergers and Acquisitions funding for Healthcare Practices and Technology Start Up Corporations. He also serves the community as President of the Naval Academy Alumni Arizona Chapter, past Chairman of the Board for All Saints Episcopal Church and Day School, and past Chairman of the Phoenix Chapter of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.
